As Maxime suggested last week, now that mid-terms exams have eventually come to en end, we'll be talking english all the time, even between french people. Are we in Oz to learn english or what ?
I apologize in advance for non-speaking people reading this blog : it will probably be the only post in english, I'll be back to french next week ^^ (unless I receive so many messages to go on this way !). At least you can try to translate, but not using this crappy tool from google which translate word by word...
For those who miss me (I wonder how many thousands there are), I'll be back in France this summer (winter in dear old France), from the 16th of december to the 9th of january. I haven't planned anything to do in France yet, but if you have any idea, there're welcomed ! I have so much to think about in Oz this days, especially for my holidays between november and february that I can't even figure out what my time in France will be made of !
BTW, I already found some contacts to work in Tasmania just after the session exams around the 20th of november. Working in fruit picking would probably the best way to find a job for 3 weeks, so that we can spend free vacation in Tassie with Maxime, and we might be sleeping in our car to save even more money. We will try to visit Jane, an Australian girl we met in Angers, and we'll spend our week-ends visiting famous beach spots, and backpacking in the wild of Tassie !
Leaving Tasmania, I will be back in France for nearly one month as I already told you...
Coming back to Australia afterwards, I will directly take the plane at my arrival in Sydney to Melbourne to catch up with Maxime, who will be back from Tassie with the car. We'll also meet PA and Mickaël with their wicked van they will rent for the summer, for a 12000 km road-trip around Australia. Melbourne, Adelaïde, Alice Springs, Uluru, Darwin, Kakadu National Park, Tennant Creek, Townsville, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Sydney and finally Wollongong... a lot to see and do ! We planned to be back for the next orientation week on session 2 around the 20th of february.
This week-end was the Cosatal tour at Kooloobong, one of the 3 major events there : on saturday we first got up at 4.30 am to watch the World Cup Rugby match France vs Argentina with some others courageous guys from Kooloobong : great fun despite the Argentinian's victory.

We then took a bus to visit nice spots along the coast, stopping in some pubs, fine international day !
Wonderful views of North Wollongong, especially from a famous bridge over the water which cost millions of dollars
The Kooloobong Team !
The Kooloobong Team !
I went to bed very early after this long day, but my roomate Hywel got up at 11 pm after 3 hours of sleep to watch Australia, New Zeland and Great Britain playing... he eventually remained awake all night long... but knowing he told to me "Rugby World Cup is like Christmas to me" that can be understood easily... if you knew the guy you would understand : he knows almost all the players in all the teams !
On the afternoon we played bowls at Gwynneville (the university district of Wollongong), a game which looks like the french "pétanque", but with heavier bowls.
On sunday night, it was rugby time at Mickaël's Unit : his roomates suscribed to sport channels so that we can watch as many matches as we want, and with the videoprojector it's even better !
First match Wales/Canada (didn't know that Canada had a rugby team) and then South Africa vs Samoa for good entertainment.
What a week-end !
Here as some pics from the bowls (with Nicole's comments from facebook) :

Es-tu conscient que certaines personnes ne parlent pas anglais???
Ha non monsieur, pas d'accord! L'anglais c'est OK quand tu parles avec d'autres exchanges, mais sur ton blog d'électron à l'étranger, c'est tabou!
Du coup j'ai rien lu :D
